FinFolio is a fully funded startup in the financial technology segment, founded by startup veterans who have been extremely successful with prior ventures. We are located in the Denver area--currently in Parker, CO but with an eventual move to the Denver Tech Center. We are hiring a WPF/C# specialist to be the lead developer for our WPF front-end. Your responsibilities will include designing, prototyping and evaluating user interface components and architectures.

We are targeting a Software As Service model similar to Microsoft's direction with their Office and Office Live suite. We expect our app to run in both an Office 2007 desktop environment and as a lighter-weight web implementation running as an XBAP. We also plan to develop a web site in ASP.Net and/or Silverlight where you will be the development lead. We will be evaluating rolling our flagship WPF application to Microsoft Silverlight.

Our team is small and moves quickly, using agile development methodologies. Although we need a WPF specialist, you will be expected to perform a variety of other coding tasks, working independently and with other developers. Our architecture is highly object-oriented, using a modified version of nHibernate that enables mobile objects. Our architecture uses a plug-in framework and we have several development partners who are building applications atop the framework.

Required Skills:
•    WPF, C#, .NET Framework 3.5

Desired Skills:
•    WWF, WCF, SQL, LINQ, regular expressions, nHibernate, Crystal Reports, ASP.Net, HTML, JavaScript, XML and XAML.
•    A four-year degree is preferred but not required.
•    Experience with the financial industry is preferred but not required.
