It feels great getting the alpha out. I've been demoing it to the beta group and getting very good feedback. The general impression seems to be that we're "on the right track." We're planning on doing another release next week to fix some of the worst system-crashing bugs. We've also done a lot of work on the screens.

On to other items--FinFolio is hiring again!

We've posted another developer position on the website here. Our last hire was somebody who saw our posting and submitted a resume, so don't hold back. This time we're looking for a WPF/C# specialist, to take the lead on the UI development. WPF is a new Microsoft technology that's driving most of their current development. They're in the process of rewriting many of their applications in WPF (including Visual Studio itself), and various Microsoft talking heads have said much of the Windows 7 GUI uses WPF.

We're still looking for a Director of Professional Services, who would have both .Net development skills and the experience/skills to build a professional services department. This is a very unique position, and we didn't expect to find anybody quickly. But if you know anybody who fits the bill, please send them our way!
