Use sophisticated tools to automate and schedule important processes like your daily imports. FinFolio is compatible with Microsoft PowerShell™, Microsoft's powerful task automation framework. It has a both a command-line shell and scripting language. PowerShell™ is integrated with the .NET framework and third-party tools allow for visual editing and advanced automation.
As advisory firms grow, a larger account base drives the need for centralized investment strategies. FinFolio handles this with a modeling and trading capability, which lets you set up target models. The models can span multiple investment accounts, one investment account can be assigned to multiple models. You can check each portfolio's adherence to it's target model and rebalance portfolios that have drifted. Your custodian's completed trades are automatically verified against the original trading instructions.
FinFolio ships with many stock management reports that put information in easy reach. If you can't find what you need in the stock library, use our management report builder to create your own reports with custom fields, time periods and groupings. You can open reports in Microsoft Excel, giving you access to Excel's powerful data analysis and charting tools.
FinFolio has time-saving tools to help administer your database. The bulk edit wizard lets you make changes across many entities at once. The move transactions wizard lets you move all transactions matching certain criteria into the trade blotter, where they can be easily edited. Corporate actions wizards to fill in any missing information from your custodian, add missing cost information to splits, process mergers and acquisitions, or add missing ex-date information to your dividends.
