Redtail CRM Integration with FinFolio

FinFolio is excited to announce our partnership with Redtail Technology, a leader in CRM solutions. This partnership enables our clients to sync data between FinFolio and Redtail.

The integration with Redtail is either one-way or two-way depending upon the type of data being synced.

Data that can be synced back and forth daily between the two systems include client notes, user tasks and name / address information. Client notes in FinFolio can be entered via the Folios view. After 24 hours, client notes in FinFolio are locked down and cannot be changed, offering a permanent record of client / advisor interactions. Tasks are those that have either been assigned to FinFolio users manually by other users, or those that have been assigned automatically through Workflows as a result of a specific event.

Data that can be synced one-way, from FinFolio to Redtail, include client and account/position information. From FinFolio’s point of view, the custodian data that populates FinFolio is the ‘source of truth’ which is why this is a one-way sync.

Client data sent to Redtail includes name, address, phone number and many other client-specific information that resides in the Client Details view in Folios. Account data sent to Redtail includes position units and pricing data. Only accounts that are owned by FinFolio clients with corresponding synced contacts will be created and updated in Redtail.
